In Class 8 we enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Lake District, which enabled us to visit the home of a very famous poet William Wordsworth. Also we discussed a poem called Lucy Gray, which we will be learning more about in our English lessons. We liked the walk around and we saw some beautiful sights.
We are making lots of progress in maths because we are working on our mental strategies in arithmetic starters. This means we can now add and subtract numbers quickly without writing anything down. We can also use our times table knowledge quickly to look for factors in other calculations.
